Henna is a Herbal Plant mostly found in African, Southern Asia and Norther Australia.
Henna Plant is a tall shrub or small tree of 2.6m height. Its leaves are totally opposite to each other and henna flower have 4 sepals ( In Egypt, people prepare both an oil and ointment from the flowers for making the limbs supple).
Henna Fruit are small in size and brownish in color that looks as capsules. It has around 32-49 seeds per fruit which opens irregularly into four splits.
Henna is used as Hair Dye and is also used for Body Art, which is popularly known as Mehndi Design. The custom of Hair dye is around 6000 years old and the Body art is said to be 5000 years old.
